I am just back from spending some time in Mytilini, a mountian village in the island of Samos, Greece. Samos is located a mile off the Turkish coast. Here is a 16" x 20" arcylic paining of a road on the west side of the island that goes through an olive grove. This is a very common scene on the fertile island which has much land in vineyards or olives, as well as many acres of vegetables.
I am an artist with the Arts Council of New Orleans and particpate in their monthy art market. These markets occur generally on the last Saturday at Palmer Park in New Orleans, at the corner of S. Carrolton and S. Claiborne. Saturday September 28 is the next market. I will be back in New Orleans then and will have a booth and offer paintings for sale.
You can also purchase my paintings directly from me through the Web. I have shipped paintings as far as Australia. Contact me at iveswiliam@comcast.net to discuss prices and logistics.
I love the painting of Road and Olive Grove, Samos. Can I purchase it?
