It is carnival time in New Orleans. The first event is the Phorty Phunny Phollows riding the St. Charles street car and throwing beads. I went to the send off at the street car barn near my house. Here are a few of the phellows. As you can see there are male and female phellows. They are a spin off from the Rex krewe. Tomorrow we will see them meet the Buzzards krewe at Franky and Johnny's at 2PM.
I have been accepted into the New Orleans Art Council's art mart as a vendor and plan to be showing this and all the New Orleans paintings I am working on there, along with others. They are held the last Saturday of every month with food vendors and live music. I plan to have a booth starting with the February art mart
Wow really awesome painting Phunny Phorty Phellows, i am going share on twitter :)
