Here is a new tool to discover the latest news, trends, and conversations. tweather’s site is about showing the movement of what is happening across Twitter tweets by revealing relevance, and bringing discovery and awareness through user-defined and sharable searches. These are called “tweather™ Reports”. It is powered by technology developed at Darwin Ecosystems. As a disclosure I remain connected to Darwin but am not actively involved in tweather.
The new website is innovative and useful. Through tweather™ Reports they deliver a new way to observe and discover the movement of tweets. tweather™ creates and publishes the emerging headlines from Twitter's continuously streaming content. Below is the home page of tweather.
They are currently announcing the first tweather™ media unveiling of their new technology at TechCrunch Disrupt September 10-12, 2012. Currently on their home page, featured tweather™ Reports include the 2012 Presidential political campaigns, weather disasters, current events (Syria), mainstream media (Fox News, NY Times, CNN), sports (NFL, NHL), Medicare, TechCrunch 2012, and even TMZ and selected “in the news” celebrities (such as Lady Gaga and Charlie Sheen). Below is what is happening on twitter at 8:40Am EDY in socila media. You can click on any of the topics to see the tweets that placed in its position.
tweather’s site is supported by a relevant messaging-based advertisement placement service, which does not impede on privacy, but rather is based upon real-time contextual correlation driven by the user’s interaction. I invite you to check it out. It is fun, informative, and addictive.
Below is what appeared when I click on "scoial" in the screen above.
