I have been attending KM World for some time, including the first three in the original venue in Santa Clara, then San Jose and now Washington DC for third year now. It is great to KM World continuing for the 16th year. How many other management movements have that longevity?
This year the event will be back at the Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel in Washington DC October 17 – 19 with workshops on the 16th. I will be there blogging and perhaps even more involved. The call for speakers is now open until March 9th. The theme for this year is Knowledge Sharing & Learning: Communication, Collaboration & Innovation. It is also co-located with Enterprise Search Summit Fall, Taxonomy Boot Camp and Sharepoint Symposium. I have always enjoyed this event and look forward to the 2012 version.
Here is a summary of my notes from the 2011 KM World.
