Here is another in my series on New Orleans images 2011. This post covers Magazine Street that actually spans several neighborhoods. The pictures start with Surrey’s Juice Bar. Now it does have good juice but the rest is not low cal. I had a wonderful shrimp and grits after being tempted by the sausage gravy and biscuits. The dish was exceptional and a great way to start the day if you are looking to put on a few pounds. It is located at 1418 Magazine Street (504) 524-3828. Then there are images along with length of the street. The last images cover Tipitina’s one of my favorite music places that is a bit off Magazine at 501 Napoleon Ave. We saw Big Sam’s Funky Nation put on a high energy show.
