I have been going to Cape Cod since the 60s when my parents got a Summer place in Chatham in 1964. Later I ran the Chatham windmill as a Summer job. I have been to most beaches on the Cape but my favorite is the Cahoons Hollow Beach in Wellfleet, MA. It has some of the highest dunes on the Cape and you can walk a few hundred yards away from the entrance and have the beach to yourself. there is also a greta seafood place on the beach. Recently I went back there in mid June and for most of the time had the place to myself. Here is what I saw. You can click on images to enlarge them.
I am with you -- I love Wellflet.
Give me Cahoons Hallowo or Nauset Beach, which is my favorite place in the world.
Thanks for sharing.

Down the highway a bit, is the Public beach at Marconi Point. It's crowded, because access is To All, including all non-resident heathens (LOL) who can spring for the daily parking fee.
Kidding aside: Although it's far more crowded, they have (had) a very nice sandbar, where you could walk out very far, and very LITTLE seaweed in the water. It's a good deal, for nonresidents. Cahoons, Necombs Hollow, etc. are all very nice, but LOCAL parking permits only, keep the masses out.
I used to go there, all the way back to about 1955, as a toddler.

Forgot to add I once walked from Marconi to P-town beaches in the late 60s. It was a wonderful experience.
