I short while back I posted on Ten Ways to Track Your Online Reputation. Marc Meyer went 57 varieties further and posted on How to listen in a bad economy - 67 social media/web/reputation management tools and sites. Some are free, some are cheap and some are pricey. I say generally you get what you pay for.
His first one was Google Alerts, free with many false positives and it misses a lot but the price is right. He also listed tow others I use with are better, Techrigy and Filtrbox. I use the free version of Techrigy and the least expensive version of Filtrbox. They both give me stuff that Goggle misses, including coverage of Twitter. I learned about them when I interviewed their CEOs for blog posts.
There are 64 over options including the ten in my prior post. What web monitoring tools work best for you?
