We have now integrated online video search through three of the major sites with our brodcast TV search. You are looking for the newest episode of your favorite TV show and just missed it, but you suspect that it is available somewhere online. You love to watch reruns of your favorite TV series, but are not sure if and on which channel they may be airing again or if they are available on an online video site.
No problem, as TVissimo now combines broadcast TV
search with online video. Enter a single search on TVissimo.com, and you can see the results for both broadcast TV and online TV, a two-week TV schedule as well as the available online videos from Joost, Hulu and TidalTV right now (more online sites are being added). (The Hulu indexing is in progress will be added within a few days.)
As far as we know. we are the only search provider that integrates broadcast TV and online TV. The way it works is when someone does a TVissimo search, based on the results, we also search the Hulu, Joost and TidalTV online video sites for matching entries and show them on the Video tab. When the user clicks on the online video provider icon, a new window opens up and streams the selected video from the providers site.
Each of these online video sources has a blog to follow their stores: Hulu blog, Joost blog, and TidalTV blog.
