Hi Bill:

While I didn't make your "top 20" ... and I totally understand why ... this lowly corporate manager who often blogs about Enterprise 2.0 tools often takes a break on weekends. I agree that as long as one lets one's readers know that off topic posts will appear, we are all more than one dimension individuals. For my own blog, while my engineering learning content reigns supreme, like you cooking and beachcombing posts, I have become some what famous via Google for topics ranging from Czech Weddings to Boxer 22 (largest US Air Rescue operation of a downed pilot). This past weekend I posted about a sibling food fight between two Northern Goshawks (with photos).

Keep up the good work, and keep living a full life with off topic posts on weekends.

Thanks for your comment. I greatly enjoy your blog and really like your broader range of topics. Your blog has been on my blog list for some time. Perhaps we can encourage others to branch out in their coverage. Bill
