Last weekend I wrote a bit about my time in Jackson and yesterday there were restaurant updates. I did manage to get some walks in. The pictures on the left are the trail and the view from the trail at Cache Creek. It is an easy walk and full of walkers with their dogs, skiers with their dogs, and even walkers with their baby sleds. You can see a dog going around the corner on the trial picture. The others are taken at the National Elk Range, the only one of its kind in the US. The first shows some sheep on a slope. The next has a wolf hanging out on a rock and a half mile from the sheep. It is hard to see in this picture but he is sitting on the rocks in the middle of the picture. I know this because he was working on the remains of some animal until too many cars stopped so he retreated. He blended well into the rocks but you could see him or her move from time to time. The others show the original farm house of the site and the fading light from a nice day. If you click on the images they get larger.
