Last weekend I posted some of my recent paintings. I have also been posting a lot of photos on my art and photography blog. Here is a group that I not yet posted there. It is taken at a small pond near my house and is a welcome reminder of last summer on a cold winter day. The pond has significant algea to give it a green cover that the ducks are swimming through. There is a little island that they like. I have covered it in another post, Photos of a New England Pond in Late Fall, after the ducks had left. Like the paintings, the photos are for sale. details on my art blog.
I like the ducks. We have a few hooded mergansers that lay over in our pond during their migrations about twice a year. They also spend some time at the Wal-Mart drainage ponds, so they can't be complimented on their tastes exactly.
But, to get to the reason I found your blog, you’ve been tagged. I needed the material for Blog 365, so when I was randomly tagged by someone I didn’t know, I bit and now you’re suffering because of it. Visit my blog (http://aracauna.blogspot.com) for the rules if you’re interested in participating.
