I found out about FORAtv through Facebook and Nick Hernandez who organized the Facebook group on the topic. FORA.tv delivers “discourse, discussions and debates on the world's most interesting political, social and cultural issues, and enables viewers to join the conversation. It provides deep, unfiltered content, tools for self-expression and a place for the interactive community to gather online.”
FORA.tv is another aggregation site for used generated content. It pulls together a daily range of events produced by institutions or freelance producers, from around the world. As the site says. “the word fora is simply the plural of "forum." The dictionary definition of forum is: the public square or marketplace of an ancient Roman city that was the assembly place for judicial activity and public business.” web 2.0
I checked out the site and there were some interesting video discussions. The topics are broken down by topic, regions, and featured partners (e.g. C-Span, Council on Foreign Relations, The New School). There were videos discussing The Future of the European Union, The 20th Century on Trial: Gunter Grass, and Prospects for Peace in Ireland. There is also a discussion forum where you can participate. You can also submit videos to be displayed and discussed. Facebook Business
Just browsing the internet, your blog is very, very interesting.
