It had to happen. Now there is a conference on marketing to the 6 million virtual customers in Reality 2.0, aka Second Life. You sell them real products and they pay you real money – after the exchange. If eBay is web 1.5 or 2.0, this must be web 2001.0 IPQC is the organizer. I used to run workshops for them on using knowledge management and the balanced score card in the early 90s. Companies such as Coldwell Banker, AOL, H&R Block, American Appeal and the Harvard Business Review are attending. This gives you and idea of what might be sold.
