Here is an interesting looking conference, Webcom 2007, in Toronto sponsored, in part, by my friends at Helix Commerce. It covers interactive communications and web 2.0 and will be held April 11, 11, and 12 at the University of Toronto. This is the first Toronto session of the event. There are over 40 speakers. A number of them, such as Cindy Gordon, Hubert Saint-Onge. Dave Pollard, Euan Semple, Martin Cleaver, and Nick Bontis, I have heard speak or, at least, read some of their stuff. It is a good group to cover the topic. Many are from Toronto so it will be a good chance for local people to meet many of the local leaders in this space.
Thanks for the post. It does look like a good list of people and since I'm based in Toronto, I will do my best to atleast check out part of it. Unfortunately, I am travelling for the first 2 days but will try to drop in for the last day. If anyone else is going and wants to meet up let me know.
