Here is a useful article by Mauro Carderelli on making wikis work with Sharepoint 2007. The new Sharepoint is Microsoft’s main play for Enterprise 2.0. It has templates for blogs and wikis, a social networking capability and RSS. Sharepoint has used site templates in the past to provide a framework for the layout of a particular page type (e.g., a team or meeting or social event) that presets placeholders for specific content. Sharepoint 2007 extends the use of site templates by introducing a new collection of template types, including wikis and blogs.
