If the measurement is purely based on awareness I can see how you could get a sense of growth - but participation is incredibly vague. Both in enterprise use and the public there are untold scores of lurkers behind the noisy frontlines. So which are participants?

Yesterday I posted about a survey done about social media awareness and use on the Inc 500 should anyone have interest. Interesting to see how fast it's growing among these types of companies, too.

Thanks for the link to the survey. I see that blogs are slightly ahead of wikis now but I think that wikis will pass them because there are so many tactical uses for wikia such as event planning and early stage collaborative writing.
