Here is an interesting community and blog idea. A number of Human Resource experts in the Talent area who have blogs signed up to contribute guest posts on 32 blogs, and the posts had to somehow link in with the receiving blog's subject matter as well as the contributor's. This is to go on for 32 weeks. Some of the posts are linked at the Blog Swap Blog.
Some of the bloggers who signed up for these are non-HR and non-Recruiting people like Tod Hilton who is a software developer at Microsoft, some are not even bloggers like Online Recruitment expert, John Sumser, There are CEOs like Jason Goldberg, of Joster.com, COOs like Colin Kingsb of HRMDirect an Applicant Tracking System, and ERE CEO David Manaster and Freelance consultants like Zoe and Gretchen of Jobgals, who started the idea, as well as an author David Perry.
Thanks to Gautam Ghosh, who is alos participating, for mentioning this ambitious experiment. As he relayed, it's not been an easy journey. Commitments have slipped. Getting to know a fellow bloggers POVs and their audience has been a challenge and over the last four weeks all of us have learned a lot about blogging as well as our perspectives. But is seems worthwhile for the participants so far as it continues past week seven and counting.
