In researching a follow up on my lastest blog post today ( ), I came across your website. Happy Anniversary! I'm currently looking for tools and techniques to get comfortable with entering a/the blogging community. Your blog is quite informative.

I'm particularly interested in meta tools to help navigate blog space, and I'm actively seeking a blogging "community". Recently I came across the following link, and thought you might be interested:

To answer your question about my blog. I just a beginning blogger but this is probably one of my favorites:

Thanks again,

Congratulations on the second anniversary of your blog, Bill. I must admit that Im totally baffled by the May 2 comments about wikis and tagging but sooner or later, Im sure I'll have a reason to figure out what the heck they are. However, I totally understood your posts reminiscing about Ray Charles and Elvis, who transformed from being dynamic influences in my youth to iconic touchstones representing it as Im older. When Im caught offguard by the songs of one of these giants, a hard wired memory or feeling or image often kicks in that transports me back to a Boys' Club Friday night dance or the smell of my first aftershave lotion and the peach fuzz shave that preceded it.
This is the first time Ive made a comment on a typepad blog - if you receive it, that's one more rung that Ive climbed on the learning curve.

And thanks for the neat review of my site (April 29).

Stu and Paul - Thanks for your comments. I liked both your blogs and added them to my blog list. Good luck going forward. Bill

Keep at it, Bill. I'm glad to have had some influence. I had the same kind of encouragement from Jim McGee.

Keep on flying Bill ... your space is peppered with thought-provoking ideas and links.
