The founder, Cindy Gordon, has recenlty published a book on Winning at Collaboration Commerce with Heidi Collins and Jose Claudio Terra. Helix Commerce is now offering introductory workshops in both blogs and wikis, as well as coaching and consulting in these two areas. I am pleased to team with them in this effort. The workshps cover practical business applications and key issues in getting started. You can find out more about these offerings at their site for both blogs and wikis. Or you can send me an email.
Helix Commerce is doing some innovative work with wikis in their consulting efforts. It deploys wiki solutions to improve its own collaboration with clients for project management and integrated communication needs. This practice provides a means for them to model collaborative solutions. Wikis are used to store proposals and contracts, all working matters of clientidelivery, project meeting notes, project plans, client deliverables, and iterative communications. Helix has found that clients appreciate the integrated environments as it saves them time in accessing email records, and having an audit inventory of all project communication practices in a central and secure repository. This also allows Helix to easily leave the wikis in client hands to continue to evolve and sustain project initiatives used the wiki, as Helix moves onto future client relationships.
