Here is a place for aspiring food writers. Food-Writing .com. As the site says, “Why let your job interfere with your search for the perfect meal? Be a food writer!” They have a free newsletter, a discussion group and a modestly priced 8 week course to help you earn money writing about food. Or you can do it for free like me. Perhaps I should take this course. Thanks to John Maloney for passing this on.
There is even a list of other related sites on food and writing. A few of them were new to me including eGullet Society – Read, Chew, Discuss. There is also Leite’s Culimaria which has many recipes.
