I saw a bunch of New Orleans oriented blogs on Harmony St. Charles, an excellent and well written blog that I have talked about a bit already, so I started to explore. Here is what I found so far. I welcome suggestions for other good new Orleans blogs
Gumbo Pages – Looka - Chuck Taggart's weblog, “hand-made and updated (almost) daily, focusing on food and drink, music (especially of the roots variety), New Orleans and Louisiana culture” and much more…
NewOrleans - Very interesting collaborative blog
Ernie the Attorney - A New Orleans lawyer's personal and professional view
Crab Apple Lane – New Orleans local sports commentary
Saints Watch Weblog by Matt Heitzmann, covers the NFL team in New Orleans on the NOLA.com site which covers “everything New Orleans.” NOLA.com also has the Bourbon Street Journal, a blog by Jon Donley that covers life in the French Quarter and NOLA views, a blog that covers news of the city.
NOLA Blogs provides a list of New Orlean bloggers. Many of them unfortunately only post sporadically.
Timecode: NOLA, a web site, not a blog, but interesting and provides interviews with the artists, information on New Orleans area film happenings, and cutting edge original content.
Hi --
You may wish to remind the faithful there is only 33 days, 16 hours, 10 minutes, and 58 seconds until NO Jazz Fest 2005.

They don't have a blog, but there is a respectable bulleting board.

There is, of course, a Wikitravel entry for the Faubourg Marigny, my personal favorite neighborhood, Frenchmen Street to be specific.

See you at Jazz Fest (1st weekend, of course.)

If you like music, consider checking out MO Fest (www.mofestival.com). It's a free festival put on by the City of New Orleans on the Monday-Tuesday between Jazz Fest weekends. It's got a lot of the Jazz Fest vibe but is more intimate, takes place in a nice park along the river -- and it's free. Thanks.
