Here is another in my series of restaurant recommendations by local people, mostly bloggers. See my categories for the complete set of picks. Barb Wong and Roland Tanglao have been writing VanEats, a food blog takes focuses on their local area, Vancouver, but also has a global reach. We have been talking a bit about places to eat in Vancouver and they recently posted their list of the top 5 lunch restaurants in Vancouver – 2004. Barb and Roland give the details and I urge you to go there. Here is the list.
1. Vij's Rangoli
2. La Petite France
3. Brioche
4. Au Petit Cafe
5. The Boss in Chinatown
The general link goes to their summary and the individual links go to a full review of each place. I look forward to going to Vancouver, a great city I first and last saw in 1970.
Check out http://dinere.ca Very cool dining out site where users rate the restaurants.
