Bill, thanks for the mentions... here is a map of the NE Ohio blogosphere I did for a meeting of Cleveland business bloggers... page one has two maps and page two has some metrics [Connectors & Mavens].

As with high school, what if those who are talking about it aren't the ones who are doing it? In other words, are the people who send a lot of emails actually the important knowledge generators? I'd like to see a comparison of SNA done just with e-mails to SNA done with technical report authoring or scientific paper authoring...

In fact, to be a devil's advocate, aren't some of the problems in getting KM efforts to catch on that the really important people don't buy in because they don't have time?
