Apparently, my post on slow cooked ribs and Cajun music has been well received in Germany. It was first picked up by the German language E-Business Weblog/Newsfeed who labeled it a “gute kombination” and then Der Schockwellenreiter: Die tagliche ration wahnsinn posted on it on June 29. Peter Gloor translated the tile of this blog for me as “from the shockwavewriter, the daily portion of craziness.” The shockwavewriter seems to have a good following and has been directing a number of new visitors to read more about the gute kombination.
I was planning to add to my weekend music postings this week with picks in New Orleans R&B, blues and funk. In response to the German visitors, I will add a post on my mother’s secrets for making a good Louisiana gumbo to go with the music.
