Ives Family Mayflower Connections Through the Rich Family

Here is part two of the Ives family Mayflower connections. See Part One for more context.

The granddaughter of Richard Rich and Anne, Hannah (1728-1807) (daughter of Richard), married Ambrose Snow on June 13, 1754, direct descendent of Stephen Hopkins from the Mayflower, (Austin, p. 307). Hannah was his third wife and he was her second husband, being the widow of Samuel Rider.

Issac Baker (1709-), the son of Sarah Rich, sister of Samuel Rich (1685-1752), and Issac Baker, married Lydia Hopkins (1692-), great granddaughter of Stephen Hopkins of the Mayflower (Austin, p. 32).

Thomas Rich, brother of Samuel Rich (1685-1752) married Mercy Knowles on July 23, 1702* in Eastham. Mercy was a direct descendant of Elder William Brewster of the Mayflower.

Lydia Rich, sister of Samuel Rich (1685-1752) married Samuel Hopkins, a descendent of Stephen Hopkins of the Mayflower (Austin p. 94).

Jerusha Rich married Hugh Paine (1716-) in Truro. Hugh is a descendent of Stephen Hopkins from the Mayflower, (Austin, 1980, p. 180). Jerusha was the daughter of Samuel Rich and half sister of Lemuel Rich (1711-1791).

Ruth Rich probably married Daniel Snow of Truro, also a descendent of Stephen Hopkins from the Mayflower, (Austin, 1980, p. 303). Ruth was the daughter of Samuel Rich and half sister of Lemuel Rich (1711-1791).

Thomas (1702*-1750), son of Thomas Rich who was the brother of Samuel Rich, married Thankful Mayo on Oct. 7, 1725 in Eastham, who is a direct descendant of Thomas Rogers of the Mayflower. (Sherman, 1980, p. 251) and (Westgate, 2000 – p, 135).

Ebenezer Rich married Ruth Paine is a direct descendant of Stephen Hopkins of the Mayflower. (Austin, 1980, p. 192). Ebenezer was the son of Samuel Rich and half brother of Lemuel Rich (1711-1791).
