This genealogy blog covers the story of William Ives, co-founder of New Haven CT, and many of his descendents, as well as those who married into the family (e.g., Bassett, Dickerman, Yale, Atwater, Peck, Cooper, Day, Humiston, Bishop, Dunbar, Rich and many others). Brief histories of where they lived are also offered as well as travel tips for the area. General genealogy issues are also addressed.
Here is the home of Caleb Humsiton listed in the 1902 and 1912 Holyoke Dirctories. Caleb was the grandson of Deacon Caleb Humiston (1762-1842). It is located at 220 Pine St. Picture taken in 2003.
