This blog offers some of my art and photography. Most items are for sale. It also provides occasional reviews of art events, comments on art and photography on the web, and other related stuff I find to share.
I was in San Francisco in early July and, as always find it one of the most beautiful places anywhere. It is one of the few cities I could live in. Here are images from the Japanese tea garden in Golden Gate Park.
Here are some photos from the ferry terminal building in San Francisco which has become a great collection of food shops and restaurants. I also include a few images from another waterfront space, the Marina area.
Here are winter photos from the Nob Hil neighborhood of San Francisco taken during the recent holiday season. Most of these were taken in the lobby of the Fairmont Hotel seen in the top row on the right. There wil be more tomorrow.
Here are some images from the Potrero Hill neighborhood in San Francisco. It is one of the sunniest areas in the city with great views looking in all directions. It also has a street just as curvy as Lombard Street
The first four were taken in Tiburon and the last two were at the SF Museum of Modern Art. Here are my San Francisco 2007 restaurant picks from that trip. The plates were taken at Guaymas Restaurant, a waterfront Mexican place in Tiburon with a view over to the San Francisco skyline and Angel Island. Wonderful cerviche. It is located at 5 Main Street, Tiburon, 415-435-6300.
