The Central District is an interesting area within Seattle and I sepnt a few weeks there in August. As the Wikipedia notes, the Central District is a mostly residential district in Seattle located east of Cherry Hill, west ofMadrona and Leschi, south of Capitol Hill, and north of Rainier Valley. Historically, the Central District has been one of Seattle's most racially and ethnically diverse neighborhoods and is the center of Seattle's black community.

I climbed Mt. Rainer in 1984 but doubt I could do it again now. I was there this summer and it remains as beautiful as ever. As frequently happens, the top of the mountain was covered by clouds. The last pctures were taken from the plane.
