Painting of Rain at Charters and Spain, Marigny, New Orleans

This painting shows the reflections in the street after a rain at the intersection of Chartres and Spain in the Marigny section of New Orleans. It is a 16" x 20" acrylic. I was recently accepted as artist for the Arts Council of New Orleans for theirmonthy art market. They occur generally on the last Saturday at Palmer Park in New Orleans, at the corner of S. Carrolton and S. Claiborne. This Saturday February 23 will my first chance to have a booth and offer paintings for sale. Since I arrived back in my hometown, I have been painting a variety of themes related to the city. The March market is held on March 30.
