Here are three great lunches in Emilia-Romagna. The first is in Bologna at Osteria dell'Orsa. There are several varieties of the local bread which is quite different from the traditional Italian bread we see in the US. Then a selection of pork meats and some gorgonzola gnocchi, and cream based turkey dish. You can click on a picture to enlarge it.
The next lunch is in Modena. You see carbonara with and without cheese.
The third lunch is in Reggio-Emilia and consists of Tortellini Bolognese. You can see the location, the meal and the view.
In Carpi we ate dinner at the excellent Cafe Carducci. We started two types of pasta: butternut squash filled tortelli and tagiatelli with mushrooms. This was followed by oven roast rabbit, with fried potatoes, and grilled vegetables you selected your self. In m this case eggplant, red peppers, and sun dried tomatoes. Finally there were three types of chocolate desert. It was the best meal on the trip.
... burp! ... excuse me; that's much better.
