Photos of Sunset Over Jackson Wyoming - Summer 2008
These pictures were taken in August 2008 at sunset from the top of Snow King, a small ski hill in the town. We came down in the dark with headlights. The view was worth it.

I've missed seeing your photographs and these are gorgeous, Bill. As I was looking at the first image the thought occurred to me that I really ought to get outside and walk across this landscape. Distances being deceiving, it probably isn't even possible without a pup tent, supplies and a few days to make a round trip of it.
Mick these are all short hikes. These particular pictures were taken from the top of a small hill near town that has ski runs. It was easy to walk down in the dark with headlights. There are many day hikes in the area. Bill
Mick and Lana I am going to start posting more photos again - about two posts a week on average as i have accumulated a few. Thanks for your comments. Bill
Love these pics, the colours are very subtle and create an atmospheric and ambient feel. Well captured, I would so love to be able to experience something like this for real and I'm sure I will one day. The sixth picture is surreal.
