This blog offers some of my art and photography. Most items are for sale. It also provides occasional reviews of art events, comments on art and photography on the web, and other related stuff I find to share.
These are shots taken from the air that, to me, have a ense of abstract design. I may want to use some of these to set the stage for paintings. These were taken over the US west in May 2007.

I remember sights such as these flying over the vastness of the Western States. The odd colors always seemed shocking from on high and I always wondered how different I might feel viewing the same scenes at ground level.
Growing up in New Orleans and then moving top North Texas, I was provided two very different landscapes. The latter was more like these pictures. But then moving to Syracuse in the ealry 60s provided something totally different and so different than these pictures.
