Still Life Painting of Potatoes and Onions

This is a 18" x 24" acrylic. I treated the same subject a few months ago in both an ink drawing and a charcoal drawing. They can be found in this post, Still Life of Potatoes and Onions. I like to cook and potatoes and onions in olive oil is a favorite dish. I usually add lots of garlic but left it out of the painting for some unknown reason. The color palette was inspired by a lot of 17th and 18th century Spanish still lifes.
