Mick Mather is the Special Projects Coordinator, Cultural Resources Council of Syracuse & Onondaga County in upstate New York. He is also an artist and blogger under the title, Mick Mather's ARTblog. He covers his work as a print maker including some interesting digitally manipulated photomontages. I wrote about him a while back on my other blog and he has since changed his site for hosting reasons. There are many good images.
His more recent work, such as Moody Monday: Light and Black Body Suit, using photography and various transformations is quite interesting. They appear on the boundary between painting and photography. There is also an extensive set of self portraits that Mick has posted on Flickr. Mick’s blog and many other artist’s blogs are aggregated at Gallerydriver.com.
I am very interested in how artists can use blogs and started a list of interesting art blogs. What are your favorites? And why? Let me know through comments. Thanks.
