I have been talking to Tim Rosa, the founder of Tim Rosa Associates, a company that helps firms with their online and written communications. He also writes the Tim Rosa Associates Technical and Business Writing Blog to share much of the lessons he has learned in this practice and new stuff that comes along. The blog describes itself as a “forum for technical documentation, marketing communications, regulatory writing, and corporate training. Coverage spans the technology, life sciences, and financial services industries for those in Engineering, Marketing & Sales, IT, Regulatory, and Human Resources.”
At the moment, Tim divides his posts into Technical Documentation, Marketing Communications, Regulatory Writing, Corporate Training, and Business Intelligence. His blog is the first one I have seen that actually offers descriptions of his blog categories, a novel and useful idea. The content is comprehensive and fits his description. I found a useful post on Making Free PDF Files: PrimoPDF. People often ask me for pdf files, or even more often, I want to generate them. However, I have not brought myself to spending money for the well known tool for this. Tim pointed me to a free tool and, even more important for me, how to use it. In another post, there is also a useful guide to Comparing PDF Files with Acrobat Professional.
It was also interesting to see the Insider Threats To Compliance. I am not surprised that many firms are not handling internal security issues properly. This is a much bigger real threat to security than enterprise 2.0 adoption, although this adoption should also be down with roper security. There is also much more on the blog. I recommend it if you have an interest in these fields.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the posts that you found of value. Your blog also has lots of valuable information. I've added it to the "Business Intelligence" category on my blog so readers can get to you too.
