I recently joined Social Media Today, an online community for those interested in the topic including bloggers, PR people, marketers, and media pros. The site provides a platform for blog posts, the ability to bring in your posts from your regular blog, and a wiki. The editors feature posts they think are especially relevant, as well as those most visited and highest rated.
One of the featured was Rohit Bhargava on How to Sell the Value of Social Media To Your Boss which offered some good suggestions. He said to do research on what was being said about your company on the web and point that your firm is not part of these conversations (if that is the case). Add in that your competitors are doing ahead of this (if so). Then there was Facebook rules for the rest of us. It had some good advice for new business Facebook users like myself.
