Who is doing what with Social Media? – Great Business Week Graph

In case you missed it, Business Week offered a useful graph on the use of social media in the US (blogs, rating sites, and content sharing sites like YouTube). They looked at content creators, critics, collectors, joiners, spectators, and those inactive. The peak years are between 18 and 26 for most categories except the inactives were the reverse occurs. Also, the collectors were about the same in all ages. Seven percent of my fellow older boomers create blogs, 15% are critics,16% are collectors, 8% are joiners, 26% are spectators and 61% are inactive. These are people online who do not participate in social media. The data came from Forrester Research.
