Investor Relations and Blogging – Ross Dawson
Here is a nice post on an interesting idea, Investor Relations and Blogging. As Ross Dawson says, “Blogging is a fabulous tool to assist transparency and dialogue, which is what investor relations should be about. Let corporate boards blog!” In his long post, points that out that IBM is offering an RSS feed for investor relations and podcasts of investor relations messages. I agree with Ross and think this transparency is great way to make a closer connection with both investors and customers. This is another example of the creativity that IBM is applying to these new tools that I recently wrote about in IBM’s Social Software Initiatives: Blogs, Wikis, Tagging, and More.
