Here is a list of resources about wikis from Jessica Baumgart. I am putting this in total both as a service to anyone reading this but also to see if TypePad copies links over automatically. And it does for the most part - missed one which I put in manually.
- Quickiwiki, Swiki, Twiki, Zwiki and the Plone Wars Wiki as a PIM and Collaborative Content Tool in Searcher, April 2003: gives basic information about wikis as well as listing wiki software and comparing wikis and blogs
- The National Science Digital Library is using wikis.
- The Associated Press explores the technology and mentions one of the most popular wikis: Wikipedia
- A thesis about wikis and collaboration (.pdf) by Jonathan Davies at the University of York (UK) (Thanks, CP!)
- Of course, Wikipedia has an entry on the wiki with links to additional resources
- LLRX.com published Enter the World of the "Wiki", which provides a brief introduction to wiki software and how businesses might use wikis.
- CMS Review (CMS = Content Management Systems) has a section about wikis, including a directory of wiki software.
- BusinessWeek published two articles about wikis this summer.
- eopwiki, one of the kinds of wikis, has some FAQs about wikis, including Getting Your Wiki Adopted.
