Here is a 18" x 24" painting done from life of potatoes, onions, garlic with cumin. After the work as done I cooked the scene.

Here is a 18" x 24" acrylic painting of a bowl with red delicious apples. It is a redo of Still Life with Apples Phase 2. I did not like the apples in the original and ended flipping the light source and changing the background so the entire painting was redone.

This is a 18" x 24" acrylic. I was focusing on both shape and color.

Painting of Coffee and Cheese Scone

Here is a 18" x 24" acrylic of my coffee break. I was trying to decide what to do next and decided to go close at hand. I was interested in the translucent wrapping for the scone and the interplay of shadows.

Painting of Still Life with Green Peppers in a Brass Bucket - Final version

I have shown earlier versions of this work but I finally had a chance to complete the background. It is on exhibit at the Cambridge Art Association Fall Salon. The show runs September 8-27, 2007. The Reception is Friday, September 14, 5:30-7:30pm at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery and the University Place Gallery. This work is on display at University Place, 124 Mt. Auburn St. Cambridge MA.

Still Life of Peppers

This is a work in progress as the background is not finished. I may do work on the table cloth and a few other parts. It is 18" x 24" in acrylic. It was fun to work with brass bucket and its reflections, as well as the peppers. Suggestions are welcome.
