Painting of Bread Basket at Dick and Jenny's in New Orleans

Here is a 20" x 24' acrylic painting of the bread basket I was served at Dick and Jenny's resturant in New Orleans sitting at the bar. To go with it I had a duck confit pie and frogs legs in a Crystal Hot Sauce butter. Everything was great. The bread basket had cornbread and whole wheat bread with a ball of butter in a small white dish.

I know it is Spring but here is a throw back to winter, my old winter boots. It is a 20" x 24" acrylic painting that is part of my shoe series putting shoes against brown roll paper.

Here is another in my shoe series. It is a 18" x 24" acrylic painting of my vintage Air Jordan sneakers. They have played a lot of hoop. 

 

Painting of Silver Boots: Early Stages and Final Version

Here is a 14" x 18" acrylic painting of silver boots that belonged to our studio model. I am putting shoes that I feel have some character against a roll of brown paper in the same way that photographers often put people against white paper.  You can see the early stages of the painting below the final version.  This and many others are for sale at the Artsetter site.

This is a 14" x 18" acrylic painting of a comfortable pair of old shoes I have had for years. I tried to convey this feeling. This is the first in a new series on shoes. A pair of silver sneakers follows.  It is for sale at Artsetter.com.

This is a 18" x 24" acrylic painting of a woman wearing a maroon hat.  The woman and the foreground were painted from life and I added a yellow background with an horizon to go with the landscape feel of the painting.

Here is an 18" x 24" acrylic of a woman with a green sweater. it is the same model and pose that was depicted in Painting of Woman in a Pink Dress. That was the bottom and here is the top from the opposite side. This is a work in progress and I plan to do more with this painting. Suggestions?
