This is my sixth year in a row to attend the Onset Bay Blues Festival. This was the best one yet. James Montgomery came on with Doug Bell and Erin Harpe. They each have their own bands. I bought two of her CDs.

This is my sixth year in a row to attend the Onset Bay Blues Festival. This was the best one yet. Here are the first three acts in reverse order. A Ton of Blues, Professor Harp, and Jon Butcher and Charlie Farren. The Ton of Blues were huge and recently voted the best blues band in Worcester, MA. The others were great. Professor Harp has an excellent CD I bought.

Here are a series of photos taken at the end of July. Most are taken from the Point Independence Inn or close by. I never get tired of looking at the changing sky and and water here.
The Ripplecove Inn is located on the shores of Lake Massawippi in Quebec's Eastern Townships region. It remains one of our favorite places to relax. There is great food, extensive wine list, and a beautiful place to simply hang out or go for a swim or use a canoe. Here are some images from July 2011.
Here is a "24" x 30" acrylic painting of a shrimp po-boy I ate in New Orleans in June. It was served dressed, which means lettuce, tomato, etc. I passed on the pickles.
