I have covered the lower Connecticut River valley on several occasions. Here is images from two great lunches at the River Tavern and the town of Chester CT itself, one of my favorite towns.

I took one of those train rides for tourists that went from Bellows Falls to Chester and back at least 20 years ago now. While they turned the engine for the return trip, we got to visit the hardware store.
