Here is a pond near my house that I often walk to during every season. Here is the same New England Pond in Winter and here are the Ducks in Summer. These pictures were taken in early November 2008. The ducks were still there but the geese had gone for the season.

Years ago I imagined setting up a camera in the exact same spot in the woods at least a couple of times a month for a year to take photos & see how things changed over time. I realized I'd have some serious issues trying to determine "exact" placement during different times, of course. I've settled with comparing pictures of our yard throughout the year, instead.

I'm sure these are all much more beautiful full size ... but loading takes forever and I'll have to come back when I have more time.
